Philip is responsible for the implementation and management of all pre-development, study and construction programs at the Frieda River Project site in Papua New Guinea. As well as ensuring the technical elements of these programs are completed safely, on time and on budget, Philip oversees all supporting site administrative functions.
Philip has extensive construction experience in both green and brownfield mining projects. Prior to joining PanAust, Philip held a number of mine site development positions for surface and underground mining operations in Egypt and Australia.
Philip commenced his employment with PanAust in September 2010 as an Electrical Superintendent at the Company’s Ban Houayxai Gold-Silver Operation in Laos. In 2012, Philip was promoted to Project Manager for PanAust’s Laos-registered company, Phu Bia Mining, before transitioning to his current role in January 2015.
